What hacks work/I Keep getting disconnected? (as of June 8, 2009)

If you are getting Disconnected while using some of the hacks, that means the hack is most likely patched, you're doing a combination of hacks there may be 1 or more that is patched, or you are using too many hacks at once.

Currently, as new hacks come out, Playfish is patching most of them before everyone gets a try at it. Money hack certainly gets patched quickly, but there are still some hacks that work as of this moment.

For Flash 9, these currently work.
1) RC Tools v5.1 Fast 1 Hacks (all of them work, but it is best not to use super sonic customers as this might cause you to D/C if you use other hacks with this.)
2) RC Tools v5.1 Stamina or HP Freeze hack
3) Unlock Trophy hack
3) +100 Gourmet point hack (http://restaurantcityhacks.blogspot.com/2009/06/restaurant-city-hack-gainsubtract-100.html)

For Flash 10, these currently work.
1) RC Tools v5.1 Fast 2 Toilet Hack
2) RC Tools v5.1 Stamina or HP Freeze hack

Why can't I get an address on CE?

There can be a number of reasons why:

• Most of the time, its because you have Flash 10, while most hacks only work on Flash 9. In this case, you just need to simply downgrade your flash player (http://rchackfaq.blogspot.com/2009/06/downgrading-flash-10-to-flash-901240.html).
• Another instance is if the hack is patched, and it no longer works. When that happens, you can't use the hack. Nobody can.
• Lastly, is some specific hacks (such as work and bill) only gives you an address if you set your workers to do what you are trying to gack. For example, if you wanted to use work, but only get 1 value instead of 2, that means you have either a waiter or a cleaner, but you don't have both. When you scan, make sure to put one as a waiter and one as a cleaner. You can put them back all to waiters after. Another example is for bill. Some people complain that the bill hack isn't working for the, when for the majority of people using it, it's working. This one is easy too, press scan on CE with the bill's HEX when your waiters are going to/are already cleaning a plate!

Other then those, the reasons can be: you typed the wrong hex code, you didn't check HEX, also scan read-only memory, or select 8 bytes.

Most hacks only work with Flash 9. Can be firefox, IE, doesn't matter which browser, just make sure the flash is version 9. The most stable for the hack is 9,0,124,0. If you are unsure of the version you are using, you can visit http://playerversion.com

If you have flash 10, and don't want to downgrade, the only hacks you can use are: Stamina, Fast 2 (Toilet only) and sometimes Fast 1 (Bill only).

However, even if you use Flash 9, its best not to use too many hacks at once; 4-5 enabled is usually okay.

What is RC Tools v5.1 and Cheat Engine 5.5? and where to download

Cheat Engine 5.5 (http://expresscityny.com/public/ce5_5.zip) is the main tool that you need to hack in RC. This is your PRIMARY program to enable the hacks and to find the addresses needed by RC tools and other website engines.

RC Tools v5.1 (http://expresscityny.com/public/rc_tools_5_1.zip) is not a necessary but very helpful program that shows you HEX codes for certain hacks that you need to enter into Cheat Engine to get the addresses. It also creates a script for the hack you are trying to use, by entering the address value given from Cheat Engine.

Downgrading Flash 10 to Flash 9,0,124,0 IE/Firefox

A lot of people asked me (mickeyyx on restaurantcityhacks.blogspot.com) how to downgrade their flash versions from version 10 to 9 on either IE or firefox.

Its really easy actually, except for some people with Vista, installing flash 9 for IE may be a bit more difficult, but don't worry, I'll explain it to you.

Firefox users, honestly, its a quick double click on an installer, and you're done.

1) download flash 9,0,124,0 installer

2) close your firefox browser (AIM and stuff are okay to leave open for flash installation for firefox)

3) open the installer and you're done, you have flash 9,0,124,0.


Internet Explorer users, you may find it more difficult to downgrade to flash 9 with the installer, because it tells you that theres a new version. It's okay, it can work:).

1) Close all internet browsers completely, Instant messaging programs, and all other things that might be using your flash app.

2) Download the flash uninstaller from Adobe [ http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe ]

3) Click Start > Run > type "CMD" without quotes (") and press enter

4) In the command window, change to the directory(very important) where you downloaded the uninstaller and type the following:

uninstall_flash_player.exe /clean

5) Run Flash 9,0,124,0 setup. You need the specific one for IE. If you don't have it, i just uploaded it to my website:

IF this doesn't work, please add these steps between step 1 & 2:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
3. Select the Security tab.
4. Select Custom Level.
5. Find the section "ActiveX controls and plug-ins".
6. Set ' Download Signed ActiveX Controls' to Prompt.
7. Set 'Run ActiveX Controls And Plug-ins' to Prompt.
